Because of the disruption they can cause in the normal course of a day's work. They're not always disruptive, but sometimes they send auditors that couldn't find their own mouths with a funnel and expect us to "educate" them. And sometimes the reports they demand are completely unreasonable: "Show me all accesses to this application linklib for the last 6 months." What SMF record shows accesses from LINK, LOAD, and ATTACH, for example?
