are looking for a Level II DFSMS Technical Support Specialist for our
client
located in sunny Tucson, Arizona.
We are looking for someone that is self-motivated, responsible, a strong
leader
and truly enjoys working in a fast paced challenging work environment.
This job consists of customer support to the DFSMS family of products.
Heavy
customer interface is required. Job responsibilities include performing
problem
analysis, determination and resolution for customer reported complex
issues.
Also requires managing customer situations, maintaining and restoring
customer satisfaction, as well as teaming with other support and/or
development teams as required to drive problems to resolution. This
position
requires strong written and verbal communication skills.
Duration: 1 year contract position with renewal option
Required Skills
• Programming experience with Assembler on MVS systems
• DFSMS Family of products including but not limited to: OCE, SMS,
VSAM, CATALOG, RMM, OAM, DFDSS, Access Methods, DFHSM, SDM / XRC,
PDSE
• MVS Diagnostic Tools (ie: IPCS, slip traps, SMF records, etc)
• Dump and GTF analysis
