I think you can take this back to Berkeley (in Silly Cone valley, known as Berzerkely) and their forward thinking ideas in education that we only need to communicate. We should not be paying all that attention to punctuation or spelling. That one can communicate is what is key. And so you have the sound bite managers. They do not want to know the facts, just the overview and they will make decisions on that basis. <\rant> And so the mainframe is dead because it sounds good, not because it is reality.
