Bob, You can replace the couple datasets with a series of commands; SETXCF COUPLE,TYPE,xxx,ACOUPLE=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx replaces alternate couple dataset SETXCF COUPLE,TYPE=xxx,PSWITCH swaps primary with alternate SETXCF COUPLE,TYPE,xxx,ACOUPLE=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx replaces original primary couple dataset Hope this is what you were looking for.
