For anyone who was following my post from August.  We had another 
occurrence of the problem near the end of September.  A laptop on the LAN 
at my desk could not connect using PCOMM SNA.  The same Laptop was 
connected directly to the switch that is adjacent to the OSA and the SNA 
connection was successful. This proved the OSA was working.  The interface 
on the switch was reset.  SNA connectivity from the network was working 
after that.
