Got the goodies from Mark's site and set out to create the one-pack rescue system. OK, I'm not always the smartest and I have bumped my head on occasion, but I did discover (the hard way) that RACF has to be told in advance of the SSA or the catalog and alias bit won't work. I made a few other changes since we're not a SyncSort shop..and I'm finishing the tailoring for a test run this week. I'll give Mark kudos for the process and mark the RACF bit down in my lessons learned file.
