By MS you mean Microsoft?? Who are you kidding? Microsoft's support
sites appear to be highly available. I have *never* personally
experienced an outage when I run Windows Update or when I need to
look something up in the knowledge base. That isn't to suggest they
have 100% up time. Nobody does. But, this problem with IBMLink is
chronic, persistent, and very noticeable to everyone. IBM should be
embarrassed!
Sorry I wasn't clear enough. I meant the MS standard tagline to wipe
the disk and re-install.
I agree with your line about MS updates being always available. Once
I think I ran into an issue but it was a small amount of time later
(15 minutes) that it became available again.
