Kees, When the days since last use meet or exceed the primary days non usage value (default or otherwise) the dataset becomes eligible for migrating from primary to ML1. There are attributes on the storage group which can prevent any migration on the volume (Auto Migrate = N) or space utilization on the volume is below the low threshold or you could have hsm processing limited to a certain system/group (Migrate Sys/Sys Group Name) which is not active or takes too long to get around to the volume where the eligible dataset resides. I think the documentation is worded that way because it is not guaranteed that an aged dataset will migrate to ML1 or ML2 as soon as the number of days criteria is met. Regards, John p.s. I apologize for the fat fingers that sent the previous response well before its time. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: GET IBM-MAIN INFO Search the archives at http://bama.ua.edu/archives/ibm-main.html
