Don't do this. This has been discussed extensively in the archives. I'm pretty sure that if you properly remove this data set from the linklist, the XCFAS enque will go away. Simply creating and activating a new linklist set that does not include it will not remove it. You need to also undefine the IPL linklist set and any others that might be active. In order to do that, you will have to issue SETPROG LNKLST,UPDATE,JOB=* and as has been noted, there is risk in doing that. Not as much risk as deleting the data set when a linklist set that includes it is still active, IMO.
