Hi Kirk, indeed the url you provided explained it - it is  statement
below in TCPIP.DATA
When TELNET to USS is used to execute Java - one sees resoler trace
alongside JVM messages.

Do you have a RESOLVER_TRACE environment variable set, or maybe a
SYSTCPT DD allocated?
