Thanks. COBOL really confuses me at times. I'm going to double check
what our TRUNC option is. On my 3.4.1 compile, I guess since I used a
literal, I got the code:

         LA    5,1(0,0)
         A     5,0(0,2)                MYDATA
         ST    5,0(0,2)                MYDATA
