Naturally, IBMlink's "maintenance window" completely encloses our data center's much shorter bi-weekly weekend maintenance window, and any alternative window they might consider is going to conflict with some installation's maintenance window. We see 24 x 7 for IBMLink as a definite requirement.

Our maintenance window would be one point where a software glitch that only surfaced under production load would most likely be a sev 1 issue. This raises concerns for us about how well IBM is equipped to handle a sev 1 problem when their IBMlink infrastructure is undergoing maintenance.
