Darth, I think I see now that the hardware you are using does not support FlashCopy Consistency and delta resynch. When you're ready to update to hardware that support more recent versions of FlashCopy, Timefinder or Shadowimage you may want to look at the Shadowimage's "At-Time Split" capability.
Till then, it sounds like you have come up with a delta-resynch method that works out fine for you.
