Anything after the first space following the operands is a comment. <SNIP> Because he wants JCL to behave as if it were an object oriented language, similar to C++ I noticed that some of the wanted behaviors already exist in JCL today. The only major thing would be the variable length lines. But that's just my opinion after using JCL, JECL, OCL, ECL, and one or two others I've forgotten.
