I'm having a 'discussion' about volume online/offline status. for non-critical volumes, like flashcopies, we have been using a jes3 diskrdr and/or commandxx to bring these online after IPL's. Some folks would like to 'manage' these thru the IODF. I'm curious how many folks use the IODF to manage non-critical volume status and how many use another method, commandxx, automation, etc.
