Limit the number of concurrent volumes you move with TDMF (probably 5 volumes). It is a parameter in TDMF. This is very important for I/O intensive volumes
For JES2 checkpoint, you need to be careful. Read the book or work with z/OS support group on this. If you move one volume/one checkpoint at a time, you should be ok It is a pretty good product.
