Mike Arnold was kind enough to suggest (offline) that only PC-cp is
needed to update common. True. I was considering two solutions while
only typing one. You might be able to avoid CSA altogether if the data
area in question can be acquired in the private area of the server. Then
you would need a PC-ss routine to access *and* update the area.
