I will mention one thing about this. It depends on the CBRUEXT exit in 
OAM. Ours is set up to not accept any tape which is not currently defined 
as "active" (exists and not in DELETE status) to CA-1. In our case, we 
have all tapes come in to the ATL in PRIVATE status. We then depend on a 
CTSSYNC type operation to change the status in OAM to scratch.

Therefore our way to enter a DR tape is to put the volume in PERM 
retention in CA-1, then insert it. We must then access it with 
LABEL=EXPDT=98000. Once we are finished with it, we reset to the volume's 
scratch date to the current date. The next TMSDAILY will scratch it in 
CA-1 and reset it to SCRATCH to OAM as well.
