My past experience working with CA ESD FTP server (connecting with a batch job from various z/OS LPARs) has been without any errors. Suggest you share more about your FTP jobstream, to include JCL and commands (and any additional diagnostics), for list subscribers' feedback. Are you writing to tape, DASD, HFS, zFS -- important considerations to make, given the ESD options.
