We are using STP but we are not using an External Time Source. We have two mainframes; a Preferred Time Server and a Backup. I am trying to come up with the steps required to use our company's NTP server as the time source. I know there are a few ways of doing it, but I'd like to just connect the HMCs (not SE's) to our intranet. Here are the steps I think we need... 1) Ensure our z9's are at EC Driver Level 67L 2) Connect both HMCs to our intranet. 3) Configure NTP on both HMCs to point to our company's NTP Server 4) Configure ETS for the PTS to point to one HMC's NTP Server 5) Configure ETS for the BTS to point to the other HMC's NTP Server Will this work?
