All,

Just a heads up. I just wanted to pass along another upgrade problem we
encountered that was a showstopper until fixed. The problem was not
noticed for a couple days after our first development system upgrade.

We run Compuware Expediter/TSO V7.6 and utilized the DB2 Stored
Procedure support(started tasks that runs at IPL time, installs hooks,
and goes away) in our development environments, and application
programmers noticed after upgrade that nested DB2 Stored procedures
would timeout (SQL code -471) 100% of the time on the upgraded system.

After opening a ticket with IBM DB2 support, IBM determined that this is
a Compuware problem. Xpediter/TSO PTF XTF0118 was required along with
an IPL to fix the problem.

I only post this because Compuware has not yet posted this fix on
Frontline, nor was included in the z/OS 1.10 required maintenance list
from them as late as last Friday.
