Serveral PMRs have already been opened against various components.
Obviously the problem has nothing to do with the application program itself.
I'm just wondering which part goes wrong. PMR has not been closed and the
customer now opened another PMR concering the channel path problem.
I would bet that channel path is problem is unrelated to VB RDW problem.
At the channel level there are no RDW's - this is construct at MVS
level, at channel level there are data blocks to be written or read.
I could be wrong here, but this is my understanding.
BTW: Did you analyze logical path limit? It can be exceeded for one
interface of DASD box.
