E-Mail, cut&paste, attachment, print-outs, etc. "Protecting" FTP doesn't protect data. Protecting data does. If I have access to the data, I can copy and transfer it, with or without FTP. Give me cut and paste and a stick-drive. If I have a PC at home, you can't stop me.
