Back in the olden days programmers would pass a 'DATE' parm. If it was  
omitted 
they would issue a WTOR for Enter Date: One of the weekend operators  did-
DA:TE:MF So much for edit checks....NSF was not amused to find their annual 
 funding report formatted in this manner!
