Today we got a message
BPXI040I PROCESS LIMIT MAXTHREADTASKS HAS REACHED 85% OF ITS CURRENT
CAPACITY.....

I used the SETOMVS command to increase MAXTHREADTASKS and I received the message
BPXI041I RESOURCE SHORTAGE FOR MAXTHREADTASKS HAS BEEN RELIEVED.

Shortly thereafter we got this message
BPXI040I PROCESS LIMIT MAXTHREADS HAS REACHED 85% OF ITS CURRENT CAPACITY...

Once again I used the SETMOVS command to increase MAXTHREADS and I receive the
message
BPXI041I RESOURCE SHORTAGE FOR MAXTHREADS HAS BEEN RELIEVED.

We are running z/OS 1.11.

Since the cause of these resource shortages has been taken care of is there any
value is undoing what I did or is it best to leave it alone until the next IPL?

What problems might I have if I increase these limits too far? Storage maybe?
