I have a customer who habitually submits jobs out CICS with invalid SURROGAT authority, edits the jcl in SYSVIEW and re-submits the job. That is he could until we upgraded CA SYSVIEW from 12.7 to 13.5. Now he can't see the JESJCLIN.
CA have informed me that they have changed their method of extarcting JES2 spool data to use SSI(79/80). I believe they used to use SSI(1). SDSF on another system produces the same results - no JESJCLIN for jobs that fail with SEC ERROR. z/OS 1.13, JES2, RACF, JESSPOOL class not active. IBM will not help without us paying bucks and CA will not do anything with us raising a PMR with IBM. As I don't agree with what the customer is doing there may be a requirement where application generated jcl may not be reproducable and having access to the spool copy might be beneficial for jobs that fail with SEC ERROR.
