Handling the BDW and RDW is no problem, as long as they are present in
the data. Transferring the data via FTP with the RDW is also not a problem.
The question is specifically about using DFS/SMB to mount the SMF
datasets as a Windows network drive, and accessing the data with RDWs
that way. I haven't heard of MXG accessing data that way, but if it does
it would be encouraging because it would at least demonstrate that it is
possible.
It is a SMB configuration question, rather than a code question.
