Arggghhhhh, I just looked at my calendar. I was about to reply back with "sure, but I have no idea what I'd be doing" when I decided to double check my calendar. 15 minutes before the BOF is starting I just discovered I need to be in an all-IT meeting with the CIO to talk about privacy. I had best not skip this one since they'll be taking attendance. :-(
I REALLY wanted to attend this BOF, we're just starting down the 4.2 to 6.3 migration and the developers and their managers are all freaking out about the possibility of sign problems. This BOF is for discussing anything the participants want to that is at least somewhat related to my opening remarks. This is insurance because I really intend to be there but in addition to normal unreliability, Tropical Storm or Hurricane Teddy is already calling at my house and will visit through Wednesday. After Dorian I got a whole house generator so I should be OK.
