Thank you for the inputs . We have 6 sysplexes to connect and is cable plugged .
Does it mean , from an HCD perspective , there is no change except for the
channel type ..Instead of CIB (12x IFB3) that we have currently, it becomes CS5
and rest all same ?
Well, 6 sysplexes means a lot of links. You should draw you sysplexes
and logical links. Then group links into physical connections. Note: the
number of logical CHPIDs per physical link is limited. For IFB there
were two values, the less is better. For ICA it is AFAIR 4, but you
should check it.
And of course there is small difference in physical ID. And of course
"second name" for CPC is required. As with IFB.
