Greetings, After REPRO-ing a VSAM KSDS file defined with shareoptions (4,3) to a file defined with shareoptions (4,4), we started receiving the following error on a write attempt (COBOL program):
Status key=24 Meaning: An attempt was made to write beyond the externally defined boundaries of a relative or indexed file. The (4,4) file is identical to the (4,3) file in all respects except for the shareoptions. The error never occurs for the (4,3) file and occurs intermittently for the (4,4) file. Can anyone suggest what the problem might be?
