In some cases, the dump values generated when summary dump data is processed can be misleading. For example, if the dump is a result of the SDUMP macro and BRANCH=YES was specified, then replying: YES: Causes the PSAAOLD field to contain the address space control block (ASCB) address of the address space that issued the SDUMP. NO: Causes the PSAAOLD field to contain the address of either the address space that is dumped (if one ASID is being dumped) or the master scheduler's address space (if more than one ASID is being dumped).
