When I installed 2.4 late last year I ended up with a 2-mod27 zFS for the SMPNTS and a 2-mod27 zFS for the smpwork filesystem. Once I gave it plenty of space the install sailed smoothly. I've always gotten my serverpac across the internet so have no experience with DVD images. IDK if the DVD images get dropped into the SMPNTS or if they need to be loaded then SMP moves them into the SMPNTS. I guess my advice is to take the advice IBM gives you for space requirements to heart. :-)

My current system is z/OS 2.2. I know there is a lot of info about creating a separate ZFS file to hold the DVD images of "CONTENT". Any advice ? Or gatcha's that people have run into ? I appreciate any information that you want to share about your experiences. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For IBM-MAIN subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to lists...@listserv.ua.edu with the message: INFO IBM-MAIN The information contained in this message is confidential, protected from disclosure and may be legally privileged.
