Shared variable pools - as in VPUT/VGET <whatever> SHARED - are supported.
 
CTC's SPF/PC REXX supports Mike Cowlishaw's definition, as in his "The
REXX Language".

LMINIT and EXECIO etc. are AFAIK IBM SAA (Systems Application
Architecture) specific and are not supported by CTC REXX.
