Yes, that was the reason.
Did you resolve the problem with a TRANSLATE() filter or at the source?
Is it related to the Polish alphabet? What code page does
your terminal use?
It was unrelated to Polish alphabet, it was just set of random bytes.
And it shouldn't be SAY'd to the screen.
