Hi, I haven't installed z/OS under z/OSMF, but I don't believe that being in a Monoplex will have any baring on the install. You'll have the same issues if using ServerPac - you'll need to IPL back to the old version to fix any issues when testing the IPL.
I also understood that it was only possible to order z/OS 2.5 in serverpac format upto the date that z/OS 2.4 went End Of Marketing ie end of Jan 2022 ?? After this point it was only going to be available as a z/OSMF install. Hope this helps.
