Brian, I am not an expert in z/OSMF, but I wrote z/OSMF autostart: how to stop it, and how to use it (or not) <https://colinpaice.blog/2021/09/08/z-osmf-autostart-how-to-stop-it-and-how-to-use-it-or-not/> because you might need to handle a z/OSMF instance starting on LPARA today. and LPARB tomorrow. Do you need a VIPA? Do you need more than one instance of a stateless z/OSMF running, for example one on each LPAR, and an instance where you do "workload" type stuff, which contains state about work in progress. If you have to restart z/OSMF, how do you handle the down time - which could be minutes? I could not find answers to these sorts of questions.
