A friend told me a story about a large NY financial institution whose name rhymed with Sterile Finch. They were doing a big offsite DR test. Lots of prep, including two sets of tapes, driven in two separate trucks.
Trucks arrive at loading dock to pick up the tapes. Turns out the two drivers know and dislike each other: on the way to the DR site, they get in a race on the NJ Turnpike and wreck both trucks.
