AFAIK, APF authorized pgms execute under TSO/E in a sister task to IKJEFT09...the original IKJEFT09 task is in a wait until the APF authorized pgm ends. Maybe the AUTHPGMS list in IKJEFTxx came into being as part of that mechanism...
