"What version of z/OS are you running?" Z/OS 1.12 How are you accessing the SYSLOG? SDSF LOG? Or some other function If under SDSF in TSO when was the last time you logged off/on?
I access syslog using SDSF. I just tried now again but again same error message Can the error be recreated? Were you using ULOG or some other function when it abended? No I would try logging off then back on, and immediately try the process again. If that fails, find another person that can do what you do and have them try it.
