I need some clarification regarding the handling of RDW (Record Descriptor
Word).

 1. How can I extract RDW information on the Linux platform , when using XMIT
and TERSE? Is there a specific method or tool that can be used for this purpose?

 2. After transferring data from Linux back to z/OS following my original steps
,

can I write a program to read the RDW in the uploaded file to retrieve the
original data?

Any insights or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated!
