Rex, I have to ask have you tried a D R,L command? Does it show any messages related to the DUMP process?
Just for the heck of it you could try to do a R 36,END. Just a shot in the dark. We use Changeman for source control. If a developer runs a JCL Verify in a changeman session, JCLV loops. If he runs JCLV within a normal ISPF session, it works. However in this case, my dumping problem isn't JCLV. I can't take any system dumps, it doesn't matter what job or task I'm trying to dump, it comes back with this: " IEE711I SYSTEM DUMP NOT TAKEN. ANOTHER DUMP WAS IN PROGRESS" The documentation doesn't help. It just says "wait until the other dump is done then try again". I can't find "the other dump". We have one of those too. BMC keeps telling us "it is something we are doing". We have sent multiple console dumps and Mainview program trace. Still not getting anywhere with them.
