Hi Allan,
Thank you for your comments
I have been reading the manuals for a while now but they are far from
clear. The entries in error not only are no longer needed as they are
preventing the use of the full backup cycle. For a backup with ten
versions, having three entries in error means that I only have a seven
version one. Which is not a good thing. And what I wanted to do is to
delete the entries in error. However, the manuals are not very clear. The
ERR 39 explanation is perceptible, but it does not give me a clear path to
solve the problem. And I cannot make sense of the FIXCDS command syntax.
According to the ERR 39 message, for a base dataset, there are missing
entries "C" records. I cannot regenerate those records, but I fail to see
how to delete the entries in error. And as this is a production HSM, there
is not much leeway for trial and error.
Regards
Jack
