<snip>I located the duct at first via STCBDUCV and when that didn’t work I tried

You have failed to address the question(s).
Regarding "STCBDUCV and when that didn't work":
- Maybe you thought you were using STCBDUCV but weren't.- Maybe you were using
STCBDUCV but based on PSATOLD but in SRB mode.- Maybe you were in XM mode and
your attempt to access STCBDUCV was in the wrong address space.
Why is it that the good folks on this forum continually have to ask you to show
the data?

What was the failing PSW?
What was the failing instruction? What were the relevant failing registers? What
was the data located by each relevant failing register?
TCBPKF is used for a lot of things, including the key related to certain
subpools. None of the uses are relevant to the situation.
