If it is configured for standard S3 protocols, the following IBM z/OS components can leverage it: - DFSMSdss for data set and full volume backup - DFSMSdfp CDA (cloud data access) - no charge z/OS access method for applications to write/read data directly from object storage - GDKUTIL - no charge IEBGENER like utility to copy data between disk/tape and object storage - DFSMScdm (Cloud Data Manager) - One Time Charge product that copies disk/tape and object storage at scale (highly parallel) - OAM - no charge z/OS access method for storing unstructured z/OS data (PDFs, audio, images, etc) - ... more to come very soon
