Yes, but what you specified is wrong. Try 3270-X.

Subject: IPL on a mod-5?
External Message: Use Caution
Is it possible to IPL with a mod-5 terminal?
I have tried a few things, but always the console will appear garbled, as it
seems it is not recognizing that the console is a mod-5.
I am doing this in hopes of using a mod-5 terminal as a master console. The
console address I am using is defined as UNIT(3270-X) in the CONSOLxx parmlib
member. The terminal emulator session is defined as a 3279-5E.
Thank you for any insight you can provide.
