Does DSFS require NFS for "direct" file access from a remote system (Windows, Linux, Unix, and maybe even another z/OS system)? I know FTP, SFTP, and Connect: Direct (and others) can be used to transmit files to/from DSFS. But can you "mount" a DSFS on, for example, a Windows machine as being a "remote" file system? Is NFS required to do this? I know SMB/DFS support was dropped a few releases ago.
