I run a UNIX shell command from TSO OMVS and redirect its output with >"//'userid.TEMP.OUT2'"
I get the error FSUM7343 cannot open "//'userid.TEMP.OUT2'" for output: EDC5141I Read-only file system. It's "my data set" -- I am "userid". It's not open or allocated. Why can't I write to it? What is z/OS UNIX trying to tell me, or more to the point, how do I fix it?
