Ignoring me is like ignoring the accident you pass on the highway. Impossible. But, the off topic threads over the years have been more interesting than the on topic ones. In most cases I’ve been right. The mainframe is still going strong regardless of how many here said it would be gone by 2000 or so. AI is picking up steam as NVIDIA is the world’s most valuable company and trillions are being spent to build out the AI infrastructure. HLASM skills days are numbered.
