Kurt, Thanks - to be clear this is ZOS 2.5 ServerPac special order (as no longer available via ShopZ) via IBM software ordering from ZOS software mfg. inventory archives - not via traditional Shopz ServerPac ordering - in other words it was fullfilled and received with a special access code to download the files from IBM which I have completed. One of the files downloaded was the ServerPac 2.5 .tar file that I now need to get uploaded into target ZOS USS.
Received related ServerPac README Doc instructs as follows - step 2 is where I'm hitting issues: TASK: Download and untar the tar file 1) Create a directory on your z/OS host system to store the archive package tar file, for example /u/archive/OSxxxxxx.tar, where OSxxxxxx is the ServerPac Archive order number (is same as the name of .tar file). It is recommended that you mount a new file system at that mount point for the purposes of the install. Ensure the file system contains adequate space as detailed above 2) Transfer the tar file from your workstation to the directory in your z/OS UNIX environment created in step 1.
