Dear Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I would like to confirm a few points regarding the operation of
Connect:Direct when the security exits are enabled.

When enabling/configuring the security exits (DGAMGSAF and DGACXSIG), and
setting the DGAMGSAF exit in INITPARM, changes occur in the way user
authentication and file access are managed. Specifically:

* User Definition in Security Software: The user must be defined in
the environment's security software to ensure they have the authority to
read and/or write the datasets associated with the application that uses
these files.
* AUTH File Usage: An external user may be mapped to an internal one
via the AUTH file. The internal user must also be defined in the security
software to be granted read/write access to the files.
* SIGNON Option: The SIGNON option in the process must be updated to
reflect the appropriate user definition. In cases where SIGNON is not used,
the user submitting the job for batch execution must have the necessary
authority to access the relevant file or process.

Could someone please confirm whether these points accurately reflect the
expected behavior?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Regards,

Gilson Cesar
